Teenage Voices of 2026

Teenage Voices of Summer 2026 is a two-week summer programme at QUAD Derby helping young people aged 14+ build confidence, find their voice and engage with the issues shaping their future.

Through debate, discussion, public speaking and real-world challenges, participants will develop communication skills, critical thinking and civic awareness - all in a supportive, welcoming environment with no previous experience required.

Week One: The Art of Discourse (3–7 August) is an intensive five-day journey into confidence and communication, limited to just 15 participants to ensure a high-quality experience. Participants may also have the opportunity to explore a pathway towards LAMDA qualifications.

Week Two: Digital Democracy & Future Voices (10–14 August) explores leadership, democracy and representation through film screenings, panel events, simulations and collaborative activities.
