Join us for an evening with artist elisELIS as she brings Modern Geisha to Citrey.
A unique event! Experimental performative tea ceremony with traditional motifs, music, poetry, video art, with some kinky aesthetics, and miss e. feeding people green Japanese speciality tea with fruits and maybe feet, or not... you will have to buy a ticket and see for yourself.
Combining Tea Ceremony, Ikebana Mistress, Miss E., Visual Philosophy, Performance Arts and Artistic / Creative Direction, Modern Geisha presents a unique live experience alongside moving image works exhibited throughout the former Eden venue.
As part of the Citrey Commissions programme, this special event offers an opportunity to experience Elis' work within one of Derby's most talked-about spaces before its transformation into a new civic hub.
